About this site
Torinokubi Minami (トリノクビ南) is a boat dive off Okinoshima in Sukumo Bay, Kochi Prefecture, with a maximum depth of 25 m and a shallow average of around 7 m. It is suitable from beginner level with no current. Coral is scattered from the shallows and the chance of meeting sea turtles is high; batfish and turtles have been seen swimming together, and spotted eagle rays appear frequently in the 20 m range in season. Threadfin trevally, yellow pygmy seahorses, schooling amberjack and silver-stripe round herring are also seen.
