About this site
Tsutomezaki (勤崎) is a wall dive at Kashiwajima in Otsuki, Kochi, with three reefs of different sizes whose faces are covered in sea fans, soft coral and sunburst cup coral. Offshore the boulders fall away steeply into a drop-off, and on the vertical wall between 25 and 38 m stands a sea fan taller than a diver with longnose hawkfish on it; ribbon eels live nearby and purple firefish are found at the same depths. Pelagic fish pass through and an ocean sunfish has been seen.
