About this site
Turtle Ridge lies off Bazaruto Island, part of the Bazaruto Archipelago in Inhambane Province on Mozambique's central coast, within a marine protected area sitting in the channel between the mainland and the islands, reached by boat from lodges based on Bazaruto and nearby Vilanculos. The site is a reef dive with a maximum depth of around 14 metres, rated a beginner dive. Divers have reported barracuda, parrotfish, and snapper here.
