About this site
This dive site off Makronisos Island features dramatic underwater cliffs and caves teeming with marine life. Expect clear waters with visibility often exceeding 30 meters. The rocky terrain hosts colorful sponges, octopuses, and schools of damselfish. Strong currents sometimes sweep through, making it ideal for drift diving. The steep drop-offs create stunning walls covered in vibrant corals. Keep an eye out for moray eels hiding in crevices. Suitable for intermediate to advanced divers due to occasional challenging conditions.
