About this site
Whale's Head lies off the coast of Baja California Sur, in the waters near Los Cabos at the southern tip of the Mexican peninsula. The site reaches a maximum depth of about 24.4 metres over a rocky bottom and is generally treated as an intermediate dive. Eagle rays are confirmed here, and divers have also reported angelfish, butterflyfish, damselfish, and pufferfish, along with occasional whale sightings from a single source.
