About this site
These coordinates sit off the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula, near Cabo San Lucas at the point where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez. The area is known for the rocky islets and arches along this coastline, including Los Arcos, which are typically reached by short boat trips out of Cabo San Lucas. Divers here have reported California sea lions and common bottlenose dolphins around the rocks, along with guineafowl puffers, longspined porcupinefish, and sally lightfoot crabs on the reef, and even orcas have occasionally been noted passing through the area.
