Land’s End

Land's End marks the rocky point at the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula, where Cabo San Lucas meets the confluence of the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean, its arch and sea lion colony on the rocks above making it one of the most recognizable landmarks along this coastline. The dive site is typically reached by short boat trips out of Cabo San Lucas marina and is a beginner drift over a wreck bottom, with a maximum depth of around 23.6 metres. Glassfish and snapper are common here, and divers have also reported barracuda, butterflyfish, jacks and amberjack, mobula rays, moray eels, nudibranchs, reef sharks, scorpionfish, tuna, and even whales passing through. The wreck itself is noted as a hazard, and divers have also mentioned currents, swell, and stronger currents at times.
