About this site
Whitireia Park sits on the peninsula between Porirua Harbour and Cook Strait, on the southwestern coast of the North Island near Wellington. The park's coastline faces onto the strait, giving access to the rocky shore and open water beyond Titahi Bay. The reef here is a beginner dive with a maximum depth of around 10 metres, making it an accessible entry point along this stretch of coast.
