About this site
Abu Kefan offers a stunning wall dive with dramatic drop-offs and vibrant coral gardens. The site teems with anthias, barracuda, and occasional reef sharks. Strong currents attract pelagics, making it ideal for drift diving. Coral coverage is excellent hard and soft formations. Visibility often exceeds 30 meters. Depths range from 12 to 40 meters, suitable for advanced divers. The site is known for its steep slopes and overhangs. Night dives reveal nocturnal species like lionfish and moray eels. Accessible by boat from Safaga.
