About this site
The USCGC Bibb is an artificial reef site off Key Largo in the Florida Keys, sunk deliberately in 1987 alongside its sister ship the Duane to create a diveable wreck. It sits in the Atlantic waters off southern Florida and reaches a maximum depth of around 40 metres. As with many of the Keys' deliberately sunk Coast Guard cutters, it draws divers looking for a large steel wreck rather than a natural reef structure.
