About this site
Coningmore Rock lies in the waters off the Saltee Islands, a pair of islands off the coast of County Wexford in the province of Munster, Ireland. The Saltees sit in the Celtic Sea and are best known above water for their seabird colonies, with the surrounding rocky coastline reached by boat from nearby harbours on the Wexford coast. The dive reaches a maximum depth of around 15 metres and is rated intermediate. Divers have also reported strong currents around the rock, along with seals that can become aggressive during mating season.
