About this site
Enoshima Hole (ホール) is a shallow boat-dive site off Enoshima on the Shonan coast of Kanagawa, with a maximum depth of 10 m and an average around 5 m, suitable from beginner level. The entry is onto a sand bottom at 5 m, so the site works for introductory dives and for divers still unsure about descending or equalising. The rock formation opens into an amphitheatre-like hollow where blennies and large numbers of nudibranchs can be found, and it is shallow enough for snorkelling as well.
