About this site
Gili Medas is a small island off the coast of Lombok in West Nusa Tenggara, part of the Gili Indah group in northern Lombok's coastal waters. Its dive sites sit within the broader Gili Islands area, a stretch of the Lombok Strait known for its volcanic sand and reef topography. The reef here reaches a maximum depth of around 35 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have reported barracuda, bumphead parrotfish, eagle rays, grouper, and sweetlips around the site.
