About this site
Grotta di Cala Martina lies along the coastline of Marettimo, the westernmost of the Egadi Islands off the Trapani coast of Sicily. The Egadi group is known for its rugged limestone shorelines dotted with sea caves and inlets, and Marettimo in particular has a steep, indented coast reached mainly by small boat from its harbor village. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 20 metres and is rated a beginner dive.
