About this site
Secca del Cretazzo is a submerged reef off Marettimo, the westernmost of the Egadi Islands in Sicily's Trapani province. The Egadi archipelago sits within a marine protected area known for its rocky seabeds and clear Tyrrhenian waters, and dive boats reach these offshore rock formations from Marettimo's small harbor. The site tops out at around 20 metres and is rated a beginner dive, making it an accessible stop among the island's offshore reefs.
