About this site
Gwaneum Ssanggul (관음쌍굴) is the pair of sea caves at Gwaneumdo (관음도), the islet joined to Ulleungdo's north-east corner, dived by boat 20-25 minutes from Hyeonpo. The rock around the islet is dived between 10 and 25 m, with a maximum of 30 m. The caves are one of the island's three scenic landmarks and the walls below them carry soft coral and dense kelp.
