About this site
Ttanbawi (딴바위) is a detached rock islet off Ulleungdo's north coast near Cheonbu, 15-20 minutes by boat from Hyeonpo. The rock is dived down to a maximum of 35 m over boulders and kelp typical of the island's north shore. Visibility here runs 20-30 m for most of the year, and the site is dived by boat only.
