About this site
Ibaruma Inner Reef (伊原間インリーフ) is a boat-dive reef 5 to 10 minutes from Ibaruma harbour on Ishigaki Island in the Yaeyama Islands, Okinawa, dived year-round at depths of 5 to 20 m with little current. Sand and coral, including table and branching coral, make up the site, with plenty of macro life, a coral head that fills with cardinalfish in summer, and blue-green chromis and several anemonefish species. The delicate coral is at its best in the clear water of winter; suitable for all levels from beginner to advanced.
