About this site
Olongapo sits on Subic Bay, on the west coast of Luzon in the Philippines, an area long associated with the former US naval base and now known for wreck diving in the bay's waters. The Japanese Patrol Boat is one of several sunken vessels resting on the bay floor, reached by boat from operators around Subic. It lies on a wreck bottom to a maximum depth of around 25 metres, rated an intermediate dive with light current and good visibility. Divers have reported jacks and amberjack circling the hull along with lionfish tucked into its structure.
