About this site

Pelican Rock sits at the tip of the Baja California peninsula near Cabo San Lucas, at the point where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific. It is a drift dive over a rocky bottom, reaching a maximum depth of around 29.1 metres, rated as beginner-friendly, and known for great visibility. Damselfish, nudibranchs, octopus, pufferfish, snapper, and stingrays are common here, and divers have also reported angelfish, barracuda, butterflyfish, eagle rays, grouper, lobster, mobula rays, moray eels, nurse sharks, parrotfish, scorpionfish, sea turtles, seahorses, stonefish, whales, and wrasse on this site.
