About this site
Mid Wall lies off the coast of Baja California Sur near the southern tip of the peninsula, in the waters close to Cabo San Lucas where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez, and is typically reached by boat from the marina there. The site is a wall dive to a maximum depth of around 29 metres, rated beginner, with frogfish, grouper, and nudibranchs found along the wall. Divers have also reported eagle rays, lobster, manta rays, mobula rays, moray eels, octopus, reef sharks, seahorses, and tiger sharks here, and surge has been noted as an occasional hazard.
