About this site
Mao Bay lies on Koh Tao, an island in Surat Thani province off the southern Thai coast of the Gulf of Thailand. It sits along the island's shoreline where several dive operators run boats out to nearby sites from town at Mae Haad. Divers here have also reported parrotfish around the bay.
