About this site
Midodaki (ミドダキ) is a boat dive at Susami on the Kii Peninsula in Wakayama, only a few minutes from Mirozu harbour, with a maximum depth of 28 m and an average around 14 m. From autumn into winter schools of opaleye and chicken grunt gather on the reef, with amberjack and grouper also seen. No current, suitable from beginner level.
