About this site
The MV Xlendi lies off Gozo, in the waters near Xlendi Bay in the Maltese archipelago of the central Mediterranean. It is a shallow wreck dive, reaching a maximum depth of around 9 metres, and is rated as a beginner site, making it accessible from the small harbors that dot this part of the coast. Divers exploring it have reported barracuda, cuttlefish, damselfish, flying gurnard, grouper, moray eel, octopus, parrotfish, and wrasse around the wreck. The surrounding coastline of rocky points and reef continues to draw boat and shore dives from nearby Mgarr and the bay itself.
