About this site
This brig was reported stranded west of Mackinaw City in 1854. The remains were moved and abandoned, and are known locally as "George's Wreck" for the person that located them near his home. The remaining timbers of this shallow site are good for snorkeling, kayaks, and beginning divers alike. Lies in about 3.7 m; sank 1854.
