About this site
This small schooner was caught by a northwest gale at the Callam Company dock in Cecil Bay, just west of McGulpin Point. She was blown ashore, broken up, and went to pieces. The scattered wreckage can be viewed along with the remains of the dock piles, about 1000 ft west of the Carp Lake River outlet. Lies in about 3 m; sank 1901.
