About this site
Okawashita (大川下) is a shore-entry site at Osezaki, Numazu, on the west coast of the Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka, with a maximum depth of 25 m and an average around 12 m, suitable from beginner level. Among the open-sea sites of the cape it is relatively sheltered from swell. Sand spreads out at 7–10 m, with sand-dwelling animals and colonies of bubble-tip anemones.
