About this site
Shirogake (白崖) is a boat-dive site about 5 minutes from the pier at Osezaki, Numazu, on the west coast of the Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka, with a maximum depth of 30 m and an average around 20 m, intermediate and above. It is the best known of the Osezaki boat sites, with fine soft coral and dense fish life including schools of jack and chicken grunt. Pelagics such as amberjack appear in autumn.
