About this site
Sakushita (柵下) is a shore-entry site at Osezaki, Numazu, on the west coast of the Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka, with a maximum depth of 30 m and an average around 18 m, intermediate and above. A slope makes the entry easy. Around the drop-off at about 30 m there are whip corals, sakura anthias, striped anthias and spotted grouper, and the site holds enough life that it is best dived with a chosen target.
