About this site
Osezaki Wannai (湾内) is a shore-entry site at Osezaki, Numazu, on the west coast of the Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka, with a maximum depth of 20 m and an average around 18 m, suitable from beginner level. Calm water and modest depth make it the area's signature site for divers of every level, with entry possible anywhere along a beach of 200 m or more. Boulders line the shallows along the beach and give way to open sand at 7–10 m; it is a standard training site but also known as a macro treasure house for the sheer variety of small life.
