About this site
A rock plateau 3 m high 5 km off Le Barcarès (Roc du Poulpe), diving between 25 and 28 m; chaotically stacked slabs form cavities, cracks and overhangs of all sizes over a sandy-mud surround. Octopus, conger, forkbeard, larger fish, fan worms, Axinella sponges, lobsters, spiny lobsters and tube anemones. Very little frequented, boat only, exposed, good visibility with current; supervised confirmed Level 2.
