About this site

Satellite Reef lies off Sharm El Sheikh in the Red Sea, known for its vibrant coral gardens and steep drop-offs. Schools of anthias and butterflyfish dart among the hard and soft corals, while eagle rays and reef sharks occasionally pass by. The site offers excellent visibility, often exceeding 30 meters, with mild currents ideal for drift diving. Depths range from 10 to 40 meters, catering to all experience levels. The dramatic wall plunges into the blue, revealing overhangs and swim-throughs teeming with marine life. Night dives reveal nocturnal creatures like octopus and lionfish. A must for underwater photographers.
