About this site
Marettimo is the westernmost of the Egadi Islands, off the coast of Trapani in western Sicily, and its shoreline is fringed with steep limestone cliffs that continue underwater into a mix of caves and rocky drop-offs. Orlata Del Cretazzo sits along this rugged coast, within the waters of the Egadi Islands Marine Protected Area, and takes the form of a wall descending to around 36 metres. It is rated an advanced dive, in keeping with the depth and the exposed nature of this stretch of coastline.
