About this site
Tokube (トクベ) is a boat-dive site off Izusan, Atami, on the east coast of the Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka, with a maximum depth of 15 m and an average around 12 m, suitable from beginner level. The inshore side is bedrock and boulders covered in kelp, giving way to open sand offshore. Seahorses and frogfish are found on the rock, while the sand holds Japanese bullhead sharks, guitarfish and rays.
