About this site
Turtle Neck lies along Bali's coastline near Tulamben, on the island's northeast side facing the Bali Sea, with dive sites in this stretch typically reached by short boat rides or shore entries from the black sand beaches nearby. It is a reef dive reaching a maximum depth of around 30 metres, rated beginner with light current and good visibility. Divers regularly encounter angelfish, clownfish, frogfish, lionfish, mantis shrimp, nudibranchs, octopus, parrotfish, pufferfish, and sea turtles here. Divers have also reported batfish, cuttlefish, damselfish, eagle rays, fusiliers, garden eels, ghost pipefish, grouper, leaf scorpionfish, moray eels, pipefish, rhinopias, scorpionfish, snapper, stingrays, surgeonfish, trevally, and unicornfish on the reef.
