About this site

Turtle Point, also known as Turtle City, sits off Gili Meno, the quieter of the three Gili Islands north of Lombok in West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. It is a reef dive reaching a maximum depth of around 30 metres and rated suitable for beginners. As the name suggests, sea turtles are a regular sight here, along with fusiliers moving over the reef. Divers have also reported batfish, bumphead parrotfish, clownfish, cuttlefish, damselfish, eagle rays, jacks, lionfish, mackerel, moray eels, nudibranchs, octopus, parrotfish, reef sharks, sweetlips, surgeonfish, and unicornfish on the site. Dive sites along this stretch of coast are typically reached by short boat rides from Gili Meno's jetty area, over the sandy and reef terrain separating it from Gili Air and Gili Trawangan.
