About this site
Todai Shita (灯台下) lies below the white lighthouse on Cape Bonomisaki in the Bonotsu area of Kagoshima Prefecture, a wall dive with a maximum depth of 30 m and an average around 20 m, for intermediate divers and above. The topography is bold, with drop-offs and crevasses. Currents meet here in complex ways and run strongly, which makes it the area's leading big-fish site, with amberjack, yellowtail, eagle rays and sharks expected.
