About this site
Ichi no Iwa (一の岩) is the northernmost dive site of the Ogasawara Islands, Tokyo, a three-hour boat run from Chichijima, with a maximum depth of 26 m and an average around 14 m. The dive circles a pinnacle that sees very few divers, and fish life is correspondingly dense, with fusiliers, almaco jacks and yellowback fusiliers, and Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins in the area. The current is strong and the site is for advanced divers only.
