About this site
Maguro Ana (マグロ穴) at Nakodojima is a boat dive two and a half hours from Chichijima in the Ogasawara Islands, Tokyo, with a maximum depth of 24 m and an average around 12 m. From spring into summer, dogtooth tuna gather here in schools, and fusiliers, blotched fantail rays, whitetip reef sharks and green turtles are also seen. The current is strong and the site is for advanced divers only.
