Cobia Hole sits on the Great Barrier Reef off the coast of far north Queensland, in the offshore reef system northeast of Cooktown. This section of the reef is typically reached by liveaboard trips running along the outer ribbon reefs of the region. Divers here have also reported mimic filefish among the site's marine life.
