Mermaid's Cove sits off the coast of far north Queensland, Australia, in the Coral Sea region near the Great Barrier Reef. It is a shallow reef dive with a maximum depth of around 2 metres, making it a beginner-level site. Divers have reported fusiliers moving over the reef here.
