About this site
Icho Ne Higashi (イチョウネ東) is a boat-dive site off Kamakura on the Shonan coast of Kanagawa, with a maximum depth of 24 m and an average around 16 m. The dive starts down the descent buoy into terrain of steep rock formations, and the schools are so dense that buddies can lose sight of each other inside them. Intermediate and above. Spear squid lay eggs in small cracks in the reef, and large longtooth grouper patrol it.
