About this site
Tsubu Ne (ツブ根) is a boat-dive wall at Zushi on the Shonan coast of Kanagawa, ten minutes from the harbour, with a maximum depth of 30 m and a trapezoid reef top at 12 m. The north side is a drop-off with soft coral massed on the wall, and in the deeper water grows a stony coral colony said to be at its northern limit, usually with coral crabs on it. Occasional current; suitable from beginner level. Several kinds of frogfish and seahorses are found, and large schools of bigfin reef squid appear in season.
