About this site
Ishijirogawa Kaigan (石白川海岸) is a shore-entry site on Shikinejima in the Izu Islands, Tokyo, with a gently shelving bottom and a large reef offshore. Anthias and striped beakfish live on the reef, and when the tide runs amberjack and rainbow runners sometimes pass through; maximum depth 18 m, average around 10–15 m, suitable from beginner level, with current when moving offshore. Anemonefish, flounder and cusk eels are also typical.
