About this site
Iwa Kaigan (岩海岸) is a shore-entry site from the beach at Iwa, Manazuru, on the western side of Sagami Bay in Kanagawa, suitable from beginner level. The bottom is sand for as far as the site extends, so it is used mainly for confined-water and rescue training rather than fun diving. It is also the local night-dive site, entered from a different point, where nocturnal animals emerge in numbers.
