About this site
Nebukawa Beach (根府川 ビーチ) is a shore-entry site at Nebukawa, Odawara, on the western side of Sagami Bay in Kanagawa, with a maximum depth of 14 m, for beginner to intermediate divers, with a slope and guide rope. There is a single entry and exit in front of the dive centre, but the area is wide enough to be dived as several routes. Artificial reefs are scattered over the sand in front, gathering seasonal schools and pelagics such as jack and yellowtail, while the boulder zone to the east holds the remains of an old railway platform and a resident striped beakfish; blennies, frogfish, seahorses, lumpsuckers and nudibranchs are also found.
