About this site
Iwa Odawara (小田原) is a boat-dive site off Iwa, Manazuru, on the western side of Sagami Bay in Kanagawa, with a maximum depth of 30 m and an average around 10 m, suitable from beginner level. The dive starts at the foot of the reef, which forms a short drop-off of about 10 m, with current at times. Zebra crabs, whip-coral shrimp and Ortmann's shrimp live on the wall, and an anemone field at around 5 m holds warm-water fish such as anemonefish and threespot dascyllus.
