Japanese Garden

Japanese Garden lies along the Red Sea coast near Aqaba in southern Jordan, one of several dive sites along the shore south of the city toward the Saudi border, close to the dive centers along the Aqaba coastline. It sits over a reef bottom with a maximum depth of around 40 metres, rated as a beginner dive, and visibility is generally reported as great. Barracuda and fusilier are common on the reef, and divers have also reported angelfish, eagle rays, grouper, scorpionfish, and sea turtles. Surface traffic has been noted as a hazard by at least one source, worth keeping in mind given the site's proximity to shore.
