About this site
Kame no Su (カメの巣) is a boat dive just outside Ugurushima harbour in Sukumo Bay, Kochi, with a maximum depth of 20 m and an average around 10 m. Green turtles are met often, occasionally very large ones with shells over a metre long, and threadfin trevally, amberjack, batfish and metre-class blue parrotfish are plentiful. Coral is scattered throughout, and with no current it suits beginners and unhurried dives; orangutan crabs and harlequin shrimp are among the small life.
