About this site
Iwaura (岩裏) is a boat-dived cave site on the Kumano coast of Tanegashima in Kagoshima Prefecture, about 25 minutes by boat, with a maximum depth of 25 m. The rocky ground is cut by numerous caves and crevasses, giving varied terrain with plenty of fish. Nudibranchs turn up one after another along one stretch, which is known as Nudibranch Road. Intermediate and above; the site was closed as of 2007.
